The problem

The service video went up late or never got chapters, descriptions, or playlists.

What it does

It lines up chapters with the worship songs in that week's Planning Center plan, drafts a sermon write-up and description, and suggests playlists.

Setup

  1. Connect Planning Center Services (through Grok Bot's MCP connector, read-only) and the church YouTube channel.
  2. Give it a sample write-up in your voice.
  3. Pick a standard playlist structure (series, topics).

Guardrails

Planning Center connects through its MCP connector. We keep ours read-only. See how to connect Planning Center to an AI assistant.

Time saved

We're still tracking this honestly, so there's no number here yet.

Questions pastors ask

Does it post to YouTube on its own?
No. Everything is a draft until the pastor approves it.
Where do the chapters come from?
From the songs in that week's Planning Center Services plan, read through the MCP connector. We check the times against the video.
Do I need Grok Bot?
The template is built for Grok Bot, but the steps carry over to other assistants.
